The Story Behind Tie-Dye For

My name is Jennifer, and I am the founder and artist behind Tie-Dye For. My family’s life changed dramatically in 2021 when my fiancé, Justin Coble, suffered a stroke. Just as we began to find our footing, he faced a second, life-threatening challenge: a ruptured appendix that resulted in sepsis and a month-long hospital stay.

The emotional and financial strain during those years was immense. We lost a lot, but Justin’s spirit and will to recover have been our guiding light. He has come so far, and he never lets his limits hold him back. This new company is my way of stepping up, both to help us recover some of what we lost and to support our family moving forward.

Finding Purpose in Color

During those difficult days, I found my purpose in art. As I explored different creative outlets, I felt a magnetic pull toward tie-dye. It offered the immediate, vibrant joy that I felt our world—and my own life—was desperately missing.

This is the second, and most important, reason why Tie-Dye For exists: I want to bring more color and light into everyone’s life.

Everything in the world can feel so dark and grey right now, and while I know that a piece of tie-dye won’t change global events, I also know that bright, fun colors bring genuine smiles to faces. That is the ultimate goal—to change a moment and make it a little bit brighter.
